Use Filewisp with your AI assistant

Filewisp connects your files to compatible AI assistants through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Search and work with your own file context without switching tools.

Supported clients

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, OpenCode can connect to Filewisp through an MCP-compatible setup.

How it works

1. Create a Filewisp account and choose a plan with MCP access.
2. Create an API key and limit it to the spaces you want to expose.
3. Add the Filewisp MCP server to your AI client using the URL and key.
4. Ask your assistant to search or work with the files in your selected spaces.

Security

MCP access is authenticated with an API key. Keep keys private, scope them to the minimum required spaces, and revoke them when they are no longer needed.
